Install or open StepLog, finish the short welcome flow, then go to Settings → Upgrade to Pro → Lifetime. Continue only if both the in-app button and Apple confirmation sheet show $0.00/no charge. If another price appears, cancel. The unlock stays tied to the same Apple Account and can later be restored with Restore Purchases.
