iOS 27 gives Photos two long-awaited features
9to5Mac reports that iOS 27 brings many new features to the Photos app, including two that users have long asked for: full-featured slideshow creation and upgraded iCloud Shared Albums.
This is a single-source report; details are in the original article.
Context and what to check
For system updates, the important distinction is whether Apple has released a stable version or is still testing a beta. AppDrop therefore shows the original source and publication date. Before installing a major update, check device compatibility, availability for your Apple account and keep a current backup of important data.
Rollouts can arrive gradually and availability may vary by device or region. If the story concerns a beta release, remember that beta software is intended for testing and can contain bugs; a stable release is usually the safer option for a device you depend on every day.
This story does not mean that every mentioned feature or release is available on every device and in every region at the same time. Before acting on it, check the official release notes, App Store listing or Apple Support document linked as the source, especially when the change affects compatibility, pricing or data on your device.
