On October 29, 2026, Apple announced changes to the Taiwan App Store on iOS and iPadOS following discussions with the Taiwan Fair Trade Commission.
From October 31, the standard commission for paid app transactions and purchases using Apple In-App Purchase in Taiwan falls from 30% to 26%. Developers do not have to sign the revised terms by October 31 to benefit from the new rate.
Apple has updated its Developer Program License Agreement. This is a Taiwan-specific change; it does not automatically lower consumer app prices or change App Store rules in Serbia or the United States. Source: Apple Developer, October 29, 2026.
